Trek Gorilla Tours was founded in 2012 by a team of passionate local guides, conservationists, and travel professionals with one clear mission: to deliver the most responsible, authentic, and unforgettable gorilla trekking experiences in East Africa.
Based in Kigali, Rwanda, we are a proudly Rwandan company. Our guides grew up in the shadow of the Virunga volcanoes and have spent their careers learning the forests, the gorilla families, and the communities that share their home with these extraordinary animals.
Over the past twelve years we have guided more than 800 travellers from over 40 countries through the forests of Rwanda and Uganda. Every single one of them has left changed.
