Day 1: Arrival Kigali Airport.
On arrival you will be picked from the airport by our company representative who will transfer you to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Dinner and Overnight at Mille Collins (Lodge facility) or Gorillas Hotel Kigali (mid-range facility) or Step Town Hotel (Budget facility) Meal plan: Dinner
Day 2: Kigali-Nyungwe forest.
Today after your morning cup of coffee, be transferred to Nyungwe forest, one of the most important bird watching important areas in Rwanda with over 280 bird species recorded and the majority are forest specialists and 26 are regional endemics. Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Lodge (Lodge facility) or Gisakura Guest House Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking Nyungwe.
Have breakfast go for chimp trekking, during trekking you might spot primates like the colobus monkeys plus viewing other inhabitants of the forest like birds and butterflies, return to the lodge for late lunch. Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Lodge (Lodge facility) or Gisakura Guest House Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 4: Nyungwe- Parc Nationale Des Volcanoes.
Have breakfast ready for a guided nature walk in the forest to see a variety of animals and some of the three hundred bird species found here, drive to Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury Lodge facility) or La Palme Hotel (mid range lodge) Kinigi Tourist Guesthouse (low budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 5: Gorilla trekking Volcanoes
Have breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters where you will meet the ranger guides. When you are done with the briefing you will begin the trekking. The trek can be quite tough that it takes a lot of time approximately 2-8 hours. After the trekking, transfer to Nyungwe forest. Dinner and Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury Lodge facility) or La Palme Hotel (mid range lodge) Kinigi Tourist Guesthouse (low budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 6: Parc Volcanoes-Lake Kivu
You will have breakfast and drive to Lake Kivu ready for a sunset boat ride on the lake, in the evening you relax on the shores of the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Serena Lake Kivu Hotel (Luxury Lodge facility) or Gorillas Kivu Hotel (mid range lodge) Paradise Mallahide (low budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 7: Lake Kivu-Kigali City tour and OUT
After your African cup of coffee, ready for a drive to visit of Kigali city which includes the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi. The Kigali City tour will enable you visit the colorful markets, genocide memorials and craft centers are the main areas of interest. In Rwanda you will find all over the country Memorials to remember the genocide of 1994.Therafetr your afternoon lunch be transferred to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch End of service
