Mountain gorilla tracking remains the most popular activity in the park, with over a total of 80 permits issued daily, eight for each of the five habituated troops. Day 1: Kampala- Mburo National Park
Set for an early departure from Kampala via Masaka, your first stopover at the Equator crossing for photography. Continue in the park for your lunch and thereafter an afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo to see aquatic based animals such as Hippos, Buffaloes and bird life.

Day 2: Mburo National Park
After breakfast take a morning bush game walk. Expect to see Zebras, Impalas, water bark, topis among others. Return to the lodge/camp for lunch and thereafter take an afternoon Horseback safaris are an exciting way to see the wildlife around Mihingo Lodge. Without any engine sound and fumes you feel part of nature and often get the chance to see the more timid animals.
