Day 1: Kampala- Kibale National Park
Our driver-guide picks you up from your hotel the place of residence in Kampala by 08:00 am after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and the thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for an outstanding cultural visit.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking, Kibale National Park
In the morning, you will have breakfast to transfer to Kibale Headquarters for briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search of chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms, making it interesting. The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Manga beys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, phoestes, and butterflies. After tracking the chimps in the afternoon, you will go for a nature walk to the Bigodi swamp- to see unique flora and fauna.
Instead of a 3-hour chimp Tracking, you can do an all-day Habituation Experience (US$ 220 per person). This experience can be done at any time at Kibale Forest.

Day 3: Kibale National Park –Queen Elizabeth National Park
Begin your morning with a visit to the Nyakasura Falls in Fort Portal, thereafter drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing en route.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drives in Uganda’s best park, where all the big games can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephants and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hogs. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippos.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha Sector
Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. A visit to the bat Cave close to Maramagambo forest or a glance at Kyambura gorge is a must! Head to Ishasha section, the afternoon relaxation. In the evening, make a game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions. Overnight at Up-market/ Luxury: Ishasha Wilderness Camp

Day 6: Ishasha for tree climbing lions – Bwindi
Ready for an early morning breakfast, before you drive off to Bwindi, enjoy a guided nature walk in the Ishasha wild along the Ishasha River, and thereafter take on a mid-morning game drive to spot more tree-climbing lions. After lunch, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. The

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours, but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park.

Day 8: Bwindi –Rwanda Parc Volcanoes
After breakfast, drive to Rwanda as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known to Ruhengeri via Musanze with a community or village walk. Evening relaxation and sightseeing Dinner and overnight at Sliver Back Governors camp Meal plan: (B, L, and D)
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking, Rwanda
After breakfast, you will depart for the headquarters of the Park, where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you. You will meet your ranger guide(s) for a briefing about the greatest animal experience ever! After the trekking, lunch. Afternoon relaxation and overnight at Sliver Back Governors camp Meal plan: (B, L, and D)
Day 10: Kigali City Tour and Out for Departure Flight at 16:00hrs
After your African cup of coffee, be ready for a drive to visit Kigali for a city tour which includes the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi. The Kigali City tour will enable you to visit the colourful markets, genocide memorials and craft centres are the main areas of interest. In Rwanda, you will find all over the country Memorials to remember the genocide of 1994. Where the history of the genocide is explained. A visit to the genocide memorial is for most visitors an emotional event. Lunch at any local restaurants in Kigali and thereafter drive to Kigali International Airport for your flight schedule either back home or to your next destination.
